Testimony of Salvation

My Testimony of Salvation

If you have found this page on my website, there was a reason. While attending Texas Tech University I found myself sitting on this bench in a park in Lubbock, Texas feeling lost.

Testimony of Salvation

The date was December 18, 1986. I sat on this bench and Trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was attending a local church and did everything they said to do like praying Jesus into my heart, getting water baptized, joined different bible groups, and even attended two mission trips. I continued this for two years. I realized that I did what the church said I had to do to get saved.

Little did I know that all I had to do was trust. No matter who you are, where you are, what time of day it is, what your race is, past experiences, etc., Gods Saving Grace is accessible 24/7/365.

Get a King James Bible and read Romans 5:1-13 and Ephesians 1:1-15.

I have dedicated my life to doing what I can for the Lord. Everything in my life is dedicated to serve Him, The Lord Jesus Christ. The one who was crucified, died, buried and has risen from the grave for me.

Jesus Christ took sin out of the way. The difference between where you will spend eternal life is unbelief. Believe on the Lord and thou shall be saved! I was!

In Christ,

Mike

All of the Bible is written FOR is but only Romans thru Philemon (Paul’s Epistles) are written TO us. Your testimony of salvation comes from Paul’s epistles. The Body of Christ was kept a secret before the world began and is now made manifest.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says,

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Believing ON this is your Testimony of Salvation

2 Timothy 2:15 says,

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Romans 5:1-11

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

The Lord Jesus Christ gets all the Glory in everything we do!

Trust IN the Lord and ye shall be saved!

Ephesians 1:1-14

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
